Hi everyone,

My name is Tae (also known as Josie). I'm the second oldest child of my mum, Paese. There are 7 of us siblings, and we all live in Australia. I'm fundraising to help us cover travel expenses and funeral costs so we can go overseas to be with our mum in Samoa. Since there is no one in Samoa to care for her burial arrangements and we are all in Australia struggling to make ends meet, we want to travel to Samoa to be with her and help with the funeral. We'll all need to get Passports done as an emergency for this trip.

Before my mum passed away this morning, we talked about what would happen if something like this occurred. Her one wish was to be buried here in Australia where all her kids and grandchildren are living, but everything is difficult with the time we have and the arrangements from the funeral service place in samoa,so we decided to lay mum to rest in samoa by her parents our grandparents where she would also be happy to be with ,Mum was living in an old people's home in Samoa. I would often talk with her and send things she needed when I could. Last week, she got really sick and was admitted to the hospital in Motootua, Samoa. I was told she had a heart attack. She was discharged a few days later without much communication from the hospital. I was getting updates from the nuns (sisters) where she was living.

This morning, my siblings and I had a conference call about mum's condition. We were told she hadn't been able to pass urine for 3 days and had kidney failure and heart failure. I asked them to take mum to the hospital for proper care, and a few hours later, they called to say she passed away ️. We want to travel to Samoa to be with our mum, help with the funeral arrangements, and give her a good sendoff one last time ⏲️
