Help bury an only child

Hello, my name is Taylor, and it is with great anguish and sadness I have to write this on behalf of our family… Tuesday June 6th my cousin Adrian was shot in Tijuana, Mexico. He had to under go emergency surgery in hopes of saving his life. Unfortunately, he lost his life the next day due to his injuries. Originally residing in the county of San Diego, Adrian was a big teddy bear regardless of his appearance. Always joking and being a big dork—that’s who he WAS!! We are so heartbroken that we will never be able to see him again in his good spirits. Since he was in a different country at the time of his death, we are finding it incredibly difficult to obtain his body. Since he was a victim of crime, what we figured would be a low cost cremation has turned into one our biggest nightmares. Due to Mexican law, and being a VOC (victim of crime) we are unable to cremate him in case they apprehend the suspect and need further evidence. If we do cremate him in the United States, we could face a minimum of 2 year prison sentence. Our hope is in Jesus that we would be able to share our story and receive through giving hands to put my cousin at rest, here in the United States. It is quite costly to ship his body back into California as you could imagine. We stand that our God is one of miracles! Adrian was an only child and is survived by his mother, Carissa Rittmiller. All of his cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents are at an absolute loss. Our grief is unbearable and we thank you for taking the time to read and donate. We are blessed by your giving, as even the smallest portion is helping us get our loved one home. Venmo or any other site if preferable if you would like to donate directly, as this site takes out a percentage. @HarleysMama. Thanks again!!
