UPDATE 7/10/23:

We have managed to avoid selling my mom's car thanks to your help, everyone! We did not raise the amount we needed, but we were able to pay for a portion! In doing so, from that point on we had to pay the next portion which we did (in total around 14k or so) and then from there we were able to get a deal with an investor to cover the rest. We are now looking for a home to rent, and we are close to finding one but it's been incredibly hard. Once we move out, we plan to renovate some parts of the house and try to sell it again, but at its actual cost. We have avoided 'foreclosure,' but now we need to move out asap before we completely rob ourselves of our home's equity. I will try to edit / update this GoFundMe as we go, we still have given all we have to this matter and all the help is appreciated, but I couldn't ask for anything more. This was an insane crisis at the time of posting this, and it's still not in a great state until we are moved out - but it is very real until it's actually over.

Hi everyone! It's Darian.

As you know of our long home-losing saga, we are in the middle of moving because we can no longer afford the family home we've been living in for the past 20 years. Here's what's been happening:

We are trying to bring our house payments to current so we can have more time to sell at a reasonable price. If we do not bring our home to current, the bank will foreclose us regardless of our large equity and put us on the streets before we can sell. For more detail, we basically have been having open houses for the past month - and we've recieved only a few offers that are very low for what our home is worth. We have been counter-offering, but the problem is it takes time to go back and forth between agents, usually a couple days per back and forth. And we've had many.

We have worked really hard moving and cleaning and taking everything out of the house and scheduling long open house sessions, but we're really living on a double-edged blade and it's terrifying.

This is going to sound impossible, but we need to raise $25,000 within 1 week, otherwise we will have to sell my moms car that she paid off and drives everyday. And we all feel so bad we don’t even wanna tell her this is what it’s coming to.

The total amount to bring us to current was around $35,000 - but we did a partial payment of around $10,000 and they gave us one more week before we're done for. That leaves 25k to go, and the only way we can even try to match that is by selling our mom's car for 20k or so, if we can even. We really need help, and this is the last time - the final stretch, to get us to the point to sell this house. We've been living in uncertainty and everything can be taken from us in an instant. This is it, and we just need to get through this last hurdle so we can move onto the next chapter of our lives.

The reason I made this gofundme is because I don't want my mom to lose her car, and I don't want us to get foreclosed before we can sell. I didn't even think to make this gofundme because the last thing I ever wanna do is ask anyone to help, after all of our struggles thus far. Life is just back to back problems these past few years.

If any of you kind souls out there can help, it would be so incredibly kind of you and would lift a big stress off of us and save us.
