Bring 'A'ā home!
Donation protected
Aloha, Chris, Ke'ili and Kalani here. Our voyaging canoe, 'A'ā is currently getting prepared for her voyage home next month, and we need financial support for the offshore passage. We have been working hard on ensuring safety and provisioning, but all our credit needs to be paid off, debt free by the beginning of July.
'A'ā is named after a WSW setting star, the brightest star in our sky. One of its meanings is to "dare to". The vision for this project is to bridge the gap between our dear home and the continent. Motivated by the saying, "he wa'a he moku, he moku he wa'a" the canoe is the island, the island is the canoe. It was believed that everything needed to navigate the hardships in life can be learned on the canoe; companionship, adaptability, dignity, prayer and courage. Principles that need to burn bright through this new "influencer age" - This is why 'A'ā chose us.
We are so humbled with the support we've received so far but there are some financial links we need to connect. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, and you are welcome aboard when we are home.
