Hi everyone,

We are making a GoFundMe for our beloved friend and coworker, Omar Benitez, a hard working husband and father with no criminal record, who was recently detained on 10/31/2025 by ice as he was working. Omar works 3 jobs in order to provide for his family, On the day he was detained by ice he was working 1 of those jobs, which consists of transferring and caring for the elderly. As the ice agents approached his vehicle he cooperate with them to ensure the safety of the elderly pt he was caring for as well as his own.

Omar is a loving husband and father who always prioritizes them. He is the sole bread winner of the family, allowing his wife to care for their kids.

Not only is he a hard working husband and father he recently adopted his nephew to provide him with a loving and stable family. During these challenging times they are facing we ask that if you are able too you please help this family with any donations so that they can hire a lawyer to help bring Omar home as well as help with the financial hardships they are now facing as the only bread winner is now unable to provide.
