On March 26, 2026, our family received the devastating news that Noman, a beloved son, brother and cherished member of our family, had been killed in a car accident while in the Dominican Republic. Noman was just 23 years old, and had his whole life ahead of him. His loss leaves our family shattered and our hearts broken.
Noman was soft-spoken, ambitious, gentle, and kind. He lived an active lifestyle and had a deep love for sports, especially soccer. Recently, he had begun exploring his interest in travel, and fashion.
He found joy in new experiences and discovering more of the world around him. His presence was calm and grounding. Though quiet, he made a lasting impact through his discipline, positive habits, and the way he carried himself.
This tragedy has been made even more difficult by the complex and painful process of bringing him home.
The accident involved a fire that destroyed his personal belongings, including his passport, creating significant challenges in confirming his identity and arranging his return. Members of our family have had to travel to the Dominican Republic to assist with identification, including providing DNA. We are working closely with Dominican and Canadian officials, along with legal support, but the process has been emotionally exhausting, time-consuming, and financially overwhelming.
We are humbly asking for support from anyone who is able to help. Donations will go toward legal fees, travel expenses, and the costs associated with bringing Noman home so he can be laid to rest with dignity. Funds will also help ease the burden on his parents and siblings as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would mean so much to our family.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
