On one of the coldest nights in Korea, and in one of the darkest moments of my life, a cat with conjunctivitis ran into a traffic cone. I happened to be there. He mewed for his mom several times, and I waited for her to show up…but no cat came. So I picked the kitten up by his scruff, put him in a box, took him to a vet, and brought him home. That is how Nikolai, aka Niko, Lee came into my life. Needless to say, but Niko is my fur child, and I need help bringing him home.

Since last year, I have been living in London to pursue my Masters in writing from Royal Holloway College. While away, my family has been watching Niko. However, due to some conflicts, that is no longer possible. As such, I need to bring him to a stable and safe environment. However, I am in the midst of moving myself. Knowing this, my friend Annette who lives in NYC has graciously offered to foster Niko while I find a more permanent residence. This is ideal since Annette's cat Hodu basically parented Niko while he was a kitten; they grew up as brothers of sorts. However, as a student and immigrant in London, the costs of moving Niko from Seoul to NYC is a huge financial sum, which is why I need your help, my friends.

I am asking for $3500 due to several costs:

Courier Service ✈️ ( SEOUL > NYC) : This will be the majority of the cost. I will be using a professional pet courier who will bring Niko to NYC. Niko will be flying in cabin to ensure he is safe and comfortable.
Vaccinations : Unfortunately, Korea is known to be a high risk country for rabies. As such, I will need to make sure all of Niko's shots are up to date so that he can be approved, as well as making sure he is in optimal health to travel.
Paper Work : US requires various paper work for passport and air travel. The costs will go into mail and notarization services.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated. As any pet parent can attest, I just want my boy to be in an environment where he will be safe and loved. Your donation would make this possible.
