Dear Family and Friends,
Our beloved Nazhi — our little brown girl with the green hair — took sick in Indianapolis, where she lost her battle with Sickle Cell Anemia and gained her heavenly wings.
This was sudden and unexpected. Our hearts are forever broken. To us, she was pure light and joy, leaving laughter, kindness, and love everywhere she went. Nazhi was the jokester, always finding a way to make us smile, yet she also carried herself with grace, humility, and a heart of gold.
We are in dire need to bring her back home to Florida, to her siblings, family, and friends, where we can say our final goodbyes together.
As we grieve this painful loss, we also know that Nazhi’s story cannot end here. She gave so much to her community and to everyone she touched. We are asking not only for your help in bringing her home but also for your continued support in keeping Nazhi’s legacy alive — a legacy of laughter, love, faith, and the fight to bring awareness to Sickle Cell.
Your prayers, your generosity, and your love mean more to us than words can express. Thank you for walking with us as we honor her life, mourn her passing, and continue to uplift her memory.
With love,
The Forrest Family
