Bring Nana Ronnie Home to Rest

It’s with heavy heart, we are asking for help with donations to help bring Veronica Gail Eichorn our “Nana Ronnie”

to be buried next to her beloved husband John Eichorn as her final wish.

Veronica was born September 2, 1935 and passed December 26, 2024.

Our “Nana Ronnie” was called to take her seat in heaven alongside her love John Eichorn “Papa John” the day after Christmas. All our hearts have broken as we must face the new year without our beautiful Nana. To not hear her voice or let her know her package of Christmas ornaments arrived so lovingly wrapped and carefully packaged with her signature handwriting and XXX on each little wrapped gift. To be able to say “we love you” one last time.

Veronica lived a long well lived life of 89 years and leaves behind a lifetime full of memories and traditions she created. Veronica had a big heart and was always helping others. Veronica was a long-time member of St. Joseph’s Church in Carpinteria, CA, where she taught catechism classes, helped with couples’ retreats, assisted with all fundraisers, and helped in many other aspects of the church community. Veronica “Nana” was a huge part in raising her grandchildren/great-grandchildren, always there to make us all feel so loved and special. Her home was always our home. Veronica was social, friendly, and loved to talk to everyone. She loved animals and saved more than can be counted until her last few months.

She made the decision to move to North Carolina in 2017 to follow her only daughter. We are now trying to complete her last wish and bring her home to Carpinteria Cemetery to be buried alongside her husband, our Papa John.

We ask if you would be kind enough to help our family complete this wish by donating toward the cost of her transportation from North Carolina to California and for her burial.
