Hi, my name is Nakita Robertson. I was born in New Orleans, LA. I'm trying to raise money to aid in bringing my mom home to New Orleans. My mom passed away suddenly on July 28, 2025. She had insurance, but it was only enough to cover her cremation. Her wish, if she should pass away, was to be brought back home to New Orleans, and I want to be able to fulfill her last wishes.

I'm not able to work; I was diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer. With my finances, hardships, and battling cancer, it wouldn't allow me to fulfill my mom's wish. So, I'm not asking for a handout; I'm asking for a hand up, respectfully trying to fulfill what was asked of me. I took care of my mom until her last days. The most difficult decision I ever had to make was to take my mom off life support.

Lastly, if you still have your parent or parents, cherish them. Life and time are too short. Thank you
