Bring N95 Face Masks to Medical Workers

As we all know, there is a desperate need for N95 masks and other PPE for medical workers fighting the COVID-19 outbreak. And it's unbearable to sit at home while the doctors, nurses, med techs, first responders are caring for the sick, while they go unprotected.
I am a mechanical engineer and own a business designing toys and manufacturing them in China. I would like to use my connections there, and our operations expertise to purchase and bring in N95 masks and other PPE to donate to hospitals and doctors offices here in the US (mainly on the East Coast). I have:
- a reputable factory that can output 50,000 certified N95 masks per day (and more coming) and 100,000 full-body tyvek suits that they can airship within 2-3 days,
- a freight forwarder that I have worked with for years in China who can help us get an expedited shipment out,
- a logistics company here that will help us get the shipment through US customs,
- a 3PL warehouse in NJ that I already work with to accept the shipment and pack and redistribute the items.
I am going to run this campaign for 5 days, so that I can place an order with the factory at the end of the 5 days. The more money we can raise, the more medical workers we can help. Please donate generously. I know a lot of us are feeling helpless because the best thing that we can do is stay home. But you can also donate.
Donations will cover the cost of N95 masks (~$1 each), air freight (the quickest way to get it here), handling and repackaging for distribution (at our logistics warehouse in NJ), and fedex overnight delivery or in-person delivery. Once I know the exact costs of the logistics portion, I will post them here. But right now, it is looking like to buy, transport and distribute each N95 mask, it will cost $1.25.
So, a donation of $1.25 = 1 N95 mask. Think how far your donations will go.
I will be working with hospitals and state officials in NYC, Boston and Washington DC, along with groups like getusppe.org to distribute where the need is the greatest.
And you can be sure that I will post updates throughout this process to let you know how it's going and if we face any roadblocks.
