My 11-year-old daughter M.G. disclosed abuse — but instead of receiving protection, she was taken from me.
For more than a year, I have been denied all contact with her.
I have not been allowed to see her, hear her voice, or even know whether she is receiving medical care for the serious conditions she was diagnosed with.
How M.G. Has Been Treated Since Disclosing
Since that day, M.G. has been kept completely isolated from me:
• removed from her pediatrician
• removed from the therapist who believed her
• removed from her school and close friends
• removed from the animals she loved and cared for
• denied normal contact with anyone outside that household
• denied access to trauma-informed medical care
• taken out of the country for a “reunification” program without proper diagnosis and without safety measures
Ignored Warnings and Blocked Experts
The court denied a full forensic psychological evaluation and restricted the testimony of the experts who reviewed records.
Her diagnoses were dismissed. Her trauma-informed therapy was canceled. She was not even allowed to see her "babies" the two dogs she raised and treated them like her brothers.
A Mother Living in Fear
I wake up every day not knowing if my daughter is safe, healthy, medicated, struggling, or afraid to speak up.
I have spent everything I had — my retirement, my savings, my pension — trying to protect her.
I was fined for raising red flags.
I was threatened with jail.
I was punished for believing my daughter.
Everyone Believed Her — Except attorneys
I am her mother. I believe her.
Doctors believed her.
Police officers believed her.
Therapists believed her.
Hotline workers believed her.
Experts believed her.
But the system did not protect her.
Almost three years into this case, we had our final trial in Oct 2025 and Jan 2026— where experts and witnesses testified about the harm done to my child and to me but they were excluded or limited.
Both of us are diagnosed with PTSD because of what we survived.
Yet she is still isolated from me and I am not allowed to freely talk about what happened or what she reported. The final judgment was signed in April 2026 and became effective in May 2026 unless I post a bond I cannot obtained. My only recourse is to appeal.
Where Things Stand Now
The final judgement was entered and I have filed for appeal. My motion to stay enforcement was denied and I was forced to leave my house, displace my pets, while he walked away with 100% of the marital assets and the child. I do not know what is happening to the child as I do not even have access to her her medical or school records. I'm not even allowed to write or talk about what she disclosed or my experience surrounding her disclosures. So, I'm fighting hard in my appeal process. I'm pro se, he has 4 attorneys. I can only pray and hope that justice and truth still matters and the another court can see through the smoke they created against me and the child.
How Your Support Helps My Daughter.
This fundraiser helps pay for:
• legal representation to fight for my daughter's right to have a relationship with her mother, to see her mother, and to hug her mother

• travel costs for court and expert appointments
• ongoing filings, transcripts, and record retrieval
• exposing the systemic failures that allowed this to happen — so no other child suffers through this kind of traumatic experience

• and the fight to bring my daughter back home
