Hi, my name is Maria, and I’m writing this with a broken heart, asking for help to bring my dad home.

My dad, Luis Bautista, is a U.S. citizen who suffered a severe stroke while in Mexico. He is currently in a coma in a foreign hospital. His condition is critical, and he needs specialized neurological and ICU care that can only be provided in the United States.

Doctors have determined that he must be transported by ICU-level air ambulance back to the U.S., where he will be admitted to a hospital that can provide him with the life-saving care that he needs. Unfortunately, the cost of this emergency medical evacuation is estimated at $50,000 upfront.

After reaching out to the U.S. Embassy and State Department, we were informed that there is no immediate financial assistance available, and time is critical, which leaves our family with no other option but to ask for help.
