I'm raising funds for my aunt, who is currently being held in a detention center in Louisiana and separated from her two children, who are 4 and 15 years old. Our family is doing everything we can to help bring her back home and reunite her with her children during this incredibly difficult time.
Right now, her children are in my care while this process continues. Seeing them go through this separation has made the situation even more painful for our family. The 4-year-old does not understand what is happening or where their mother is, and that has been especially hard to witness. Her 15-year-old is doing their best to stay motivated and positive during this difficult time.
We have found a lawyer who is helping with her case and giving us hope, but we need support to cover the legal expenses and related costs involved in reuniting this mother with her children. Every donation will go toward the costs necessary to continue this process and help our family keep moving forward.
