Mostafa is a loving husband, adoring father, caring friend, and one of the kindest, most joyful neighbors you'll meet in Lansdale. He was detained by ICE in June 2025, just 6 weeks after the birth of his daughter.

Despite having no criminal record in any country, and having waited and carefully followed the law to arrive in the US, Mostafa was still detained and threatened with deportation. In a cruel twist of irony, because Mostafa was detained, he was unable to attend an interview that could have confirmed his legal status.

After consulting with multiple lawyers, the approximate cost of legal fees to bring Mostafa home to his family will be $20,000. I am asking for $15,000 to pay for these legal fees on behalf of his wife. Any amount raised over what is needed will go to supporting Mostafa's wife who has been left with the impossible task of paying both rent and child care on a single income.
