Our beloved Golden Doodle, Mookie, was doing what he loves to do most: playing fetch. Unfortunately, he wasn't watching where he was running and ran into a cement light fixture while chasing after the baseball. We rushed him to the emergency vet and discovered that he suffered a broken vertebra in his neck and a traumatic brain injury. He will need to be seen by a neuro specialist and need surgery at the minimum. The cost of surgery and getting him healthy is an estimate of close to $10,000. Any donations to help with surgery and recovery so we can bring our lovely boy home would help us out tremendously.
