Our Mother, Janell Ululani Artaho went home to be with the lord last night. Given the sudden nature of things and the current times we are living in, we are reaching out for help to get our Mom cremated and take her home with us to Kauai.

On Christmas Day we found out that our mom had cancer.. the severity of it was unknown at the time. She was having difficulties with dialysis in Wilcox and her condition worsened.  A few days later she was transported to Straub on Oahu. After many tests, we found out she had stage 4 Gynecological cancer. It had already spread all through her body and she was septic. Chemotherapy was not a option as it would interfere with her dialysis and cause extreme damage to her weak body.

This was the most heart breaking news for us children, and the hardest decision of our life had to be made: when do we let her go to be with Jesus. We know that she is no longer suffering & We pray that no one ever has to make that decision for their loved one. God used everything in this situation for His good, and this has been a faith building time for us all.  We are so grateful for all of your love and support. We can’t wait to bring her back home to Kauai and carry out every detail of her wishes.
