Mohsin Shahed Rana was a hardworking Bangladeshi immigrant, a devoted father, caring son, and cherished family member who came to the United States with the dream of building a better future for those he loved.

For the past several years, Mohsin worked at a gas station convenience store in Tennessee while tirelessly supporting his family back home in Bangladesh. Tragically, in the early hours of Sunday, August 23, Mohsin’s life was taken during a robbery while he was at work. He was fatally shot during the quiet hours of the night, and it is believed that he was observing Tahajjud prayer at the time of this heartbreaking incident.

Mohsin leaves behind his two young children, aged 12 and 5, and a disabled brother in Bangladesh who depended on his support. His sudden and tragic passing has left his family devastated emotionally and placed them in an extremely difficult financial situation.

This fundraiser has been created with the permission of Mohsin’s immediate family to help cover the costs of repatriating his body to Bangladesh, funeral expenses, and to provide financial assistance for his children and disabled brother during this incredibly difficult time. Beyond bringing Mohsin home for his final resting place, we hope to support the loved ones he leaves behind and help them navigate the uncertain road ahead.
