Hi Everyone,

We are friends of Moe, Maranda and their children, Noah and Hawky. We are hoping Moe and Maranda's friends and the broader community will join us in supporting Moe's safe return from his home country, Lebanon.

Mo recently returned to Beirut, Lebanon to lay his beloved father to rest. What was meant to be a brief, meaningful visit for closure and family support quickly turned into an uncertain and urgent crisis.

Ongoing unrest and instability in Lebanon and limited flights have left Moe stranded, with ticket prices soaring—some exceeding $5,000 USD. On top of this, lost wages from his unplanned extended stay have created a heavy financial burden for their family.

While navigating the emotional weight of losing his father, Moe now faces the added stress of finding a safe and affordable way home.

Mo has quickly become a cornerstone of our community. He volunteers with the Point Edward Minor Athletic Association, Bridgeview School Council, has ties to the Sarnia Saints Rugby Club, the Sarnia Brigade, Lambton Junior Sting AAA and friend of the Muslim Association. If you know Moe, you know he has the kindest, most generous, authentic heart and would be the first person share resources or help anyone in need. He and Maranda are proud, independent, "family first" parents who need our support in a most unpredictable, uncertain time.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Securing a confirmed flight out of Lebanon

• Emergency travel and transportation expenses

• Any unforeseen costs related to delays or changes

• Supporting Mo, Maranda, and their two sons in recovering lost wages
