Bring Missy Girl's Ashes Home

Donation protected

I don’t really like asking for help, especially when it comes to money. However, this is different and it would mean the world to me. It’s crazy, I know, but I would love to get my Missy Girl's ashes home where they belong. As most of you know, I am a one-person income and I cannot afford it on my own. The cremation is $500.

My Missy Girl came into my life 2 years ago on August 14. I had lost my father, my mother’s dementia had gotten worse, and she would forget who I was half the time. My husband of 21 years gave up on me, walked out, and wanted a divorce. All with in 10 month She was like a little ray of sunshine, and she became my best friend, my little Missy Girl.

21 years ago, my then-fiancé and I were looking for an engagement ring, and we walked past this pet store that had the cutest ugly little dog. I was surprised to see that the dog was $800. I told him to forget the ring; I wanted the dog. His answer was no. 21 years later, a week before his divorce got finalized, a friend reached out saying she needed to find a loving home for this cutest ugly little dog. Right away, I said yes, I’ll take her. It was like my higher power knew I was going to need her. I didn’t get her at the beginning of my marriage; I got her at the end. These past 2 years have been amazing with my Missy Girl, and I am going to miss her so much. I can’t believe she is gone.
