Bring Miss. Mabel Back to Health

Hi, my name is Lauren Wong. Exactly one year ago, I purchased Mabel as a 10-week old puppy. She presented as healthy and happy. She was chunky and adorable. I quickly noticed that there were health issues. The breeder (VM retrievers out of Parkhill, Ontario, Canada) denied answering any calls or emails regarding the health of the puppies that he has been breeding. Mabel has had two genetic issues which are bloodline related. The first is intestinal narrowing. This emergency surgery cost 6 thousand dollars in June of 2022. While still recovering financially, in September 2022 Mabel began to develop a mass on her nose that developed very quickly. From September until December, it grew from the size of a freckle to the size of a dime. This tumor has cost 1K up until this point, veterinary assessments, biopsies, pathology reports, consultation with a veterinary surgeon in Mississauga, Ontario and the tumor removal is estimated at 5K. Mabel still has high energy and lots of life left to live as she just celebrated her very first birthday in September. Mabel will benefit greatly from having this surgery done as she is young and healthy and likely to recover quickly. Lots of licks and tail wags,
