Minnie is our 6-year-old Great Dane. She’s usually a very happy, silly dog. She lays her head in our laps and snuggles as much as she possibly can. She’s lazy, funny, and perfect.

Yesterday, December 6th, she suddenly started discharging pus and acting like she was in pain. We took her to the emergency vet where she was diagnosed with pyometra and underwent surgery. Thankfully, she came through the surgery and should be on the road to recovery soon. But unfortunately, the bill will be anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 when all is said and done. I’m humbly hoping we can get some help with paying this bill so that we can bring her home and help her recover without the financial hardship this will cause us. We are a paycheck-to-paycheck family, and this is an astronomical bill that we just cannot afford. But we also can’t afford to lose our sweet pup.
