Hello friends and family,

I never thought I would be looking to GoFundMe for some help, but Brenda and I are currently going through one of the toughest times in our life so far. Our pup, Mika, is currently in the ICU going through an MRI of her neck/head and potentially surgery later today. Last Saturday 4/7 she showed signs on pain from her neck area. By the following Friday she couldn't walk without assistance anymore. They suspect either a disc issue (herniated or slipped), meningitis or a tumor. We are hoping for a disc or meningitis as these can likely be corrected. I am asking for any help anyone is willing to give, as if you have ever met the angel of a pup you'll know just how special she is. She is quite literally our daughter and our family. She brings joy to anyone she meets and has a great knack for winning people over. We pray for her to be around a bit longer so she can bring that joy to anyone else she can meet. This is all incredibly heart wrenching, and any help would be immensely appreciated. Total costs are going to end up over $12,000. We are just looking to shave the tip off of the iceberg and get our baby back home.
