My name is Cheryl and I’m trying to raise money for my childhood best friend, Melinda Owens. She suffered a stroke back in May and she is still unable to work. She needs my help with daily tasks and financially she cannot afford to live alone. So, I am moving her here with me to Jacksonville, FL from Ft. Myers, FL. Unfortunately, she has not progressed with her speech or reading, and her therapist advised me that she needs to live with someone for her best recovery. Being out of work for over 6 months has put her in a bad situation financially along with medical bills and other bills piling up. We just need to raise enough money to get her here and catch up on some bills so she doesn’t end up homeless. Unfortunately, she has no family to support her financially or emotionally.
