Hello everyone,

My name is Gisselle and On Saturday, immigration took my uncle Martin away from our family. In a matter of moments, they separated a husband from his wife, a father from his three children, and a son, brother, and uncle from the people who love him. Everyone who knows Martin knows the kind of person he is a hardworking man with a big heart who always knows how to make people laugh.

He raised his oldest son, who proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and is now a disabled veteran. Martin has always been incredibly proud of the man his son became and the sacrifices he made while serving this country. It is heartbreaking that after raising a son who answered the call to serve, Martin has now been separated from the family he spent years working to provide for. His wife, his children, and everyone who loves him are praying for the day they can reunite with him again.

My uncle Martin is more than just a case number. He has spent years working hard to provide for his family and support those around him. As the sole provider for his wife and children, his absence has left them facing both emotional and financial uncertainty.
