As you all may know the Cicero/Berwyn area has been filled with ICE agents. Well my mom, Maricela Rosales Castillo was detained by them October 7th 2025 near her home by 24th and Lombard. I usually don't put our family business out in the open. This time our family is reaching out to any one willing to help us financially or if there is any other way to help we're open to that too.

If you know my mom she's always willing to help out. She has NO criminal record. She's a hard working woman. She has 3 kids that love her and grandchildren that want to see her again.

We have not been able to speak to her and are in the process of finding legal help.

There are really no words on what to say about everything that's going on. Our family asks for your help and if you can't donate the next best thing is to SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!

Also this is the ONLY gofundme that I'm making to help my mom out. I'm representing both my brother, Juan, and sister, Samantha.

UPDATE 10/08/2025: Hello all. I apologize for the delay. As you can imagine it’s been very hectic. At the moment, I was only able to speak with my mom briefly. She is okay as she can be, but has not been process yet. Unfortunately there’s nothing else we can do until then. We hope to have further information in the next few days.

I would also like to take this time to thank everyone that has reached out, donated and checked in on me and my family. We greatly appreciate all the support. I will update once I have further information.

Como todos sabrán, el área de Cicero/Berwyn se ha llenado de agentes de ICE. Bueno, mi madre, Maricela Rosales Castillo, fue detenida por ellos el 7 de octubre de 2025 cerca de su casa por el 24 y Lombard. Normalmente no pongo nuestro negocio familiar al público. Esta vez nuestra familia se está acercando a cualquiera que esté dispuesto a ayudarnos económicamente o si hay alguna otra forma de ayudar, también estamos abiertos a eso.

Si conoces a mi madre, siempre está dispuesta a ayudar. Ella NO tiene antecedentes penales. Ella es una mujer muy trabajadora. Tiene 3 hijos que la aman y nietos que quieren volver a verla.

No hemos podido hablar con ella y estamos en el proceso de encontrar ayuda legal.

10/08/2025: Hola a todos. Me disculpo por el retraso. Como puedes imaginar, ha sido muy agitado. En ese momento, solo pude hablar con mi madre brevemente. Ella está bien como puede estar, pero aún no ha sido procesada. Desafortunadamente, no hay nada más que podamos hacer hasta entonces. Esperamos tener más información en los próximos días.
