Bring Marcus Tott home to Skegness

Hello, my name is Sarah Tott, I am trying to raise funds on behalf of my brother Marcus Paul Tott who was sadly murdered in his home on December 2nd of 2022 in Skegness.

Marcus moved to Skegness in 2016 to start a new life and find happiness leaving his family in Bedford. During his life Marcus enjoyed fishing, working being a chef and he has always supported the football team Chelsea. Marcus was a much loved son, brother, uncle and partner.

as a family we are trying to fundraise to afford transporting his body through the counties of Leicestershire to Skegness, bringing him back to where he was happiest, this is very important to us as a family as we know this is what he would have wanted if he had planned ahead, although this was a untimely death which has ultimately broken our family. The death of Marcus has come as such a shock so close to the Christmas season, with the cost of living as a family we are unable to afford the cost of moving him through the counties as well as a cremation, although as a family we would not want a funeral we would love to bring him back to Skegness and cremate him with pride. We are aiming to raise £2,000 to cover the cost of moving his body through the counties as well as the cost of cremation and the travel costs for our family to give him the Memorial Day he deserves this would include seeing old friends, work colleagues and anyone who cared for Marcus the way his family did.

as a family we would love to give him the send off he would have wanted although this may have not been a traditional funeral we would love to remember him, in the town he loved.
