I'm raising funds for my boyfriend, Manuel Nadal Ortiz. Manuel was detained during an ICE raid while he was working for Walmart Spark and riding in a car with a friend. Manuel has documents to be in the United States legally, and he has already been to immigration court. A petition has also been submitted to the federal courts that may help secure his release, and he has immigration court again on November 16.

This fundraiser is mainly for bail and also for legal fees. The full amount needed is $15,000 to help cover these costs. Manuel is a hardworking young man and the main provider for our household, and his family depends on him. Being away from his family has made him more frustrated and sad each day.

This has changed my life completely too. Manuel and I used to spend every day together, and everything changed in a single day when I thought I would see him again just a few hours later. I miss him so much, and even the little things have become difficult since he has been away. Since his detention, we have been doing everything we can to support him through this difficult time.

Manuel means so much to his family and to me. Any donation will help cover bail and legal fees and bring him closer to coming home. If you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much. Thank you for supporting Manuel Nadal Ortiz and helping us reunite with him.
