Bring Malcolm and Susan Home

Donation protected
Hi. Our friends Malcolm and Susan Campbell sure could use some loving right about now.

Shortly after arriving in Arizona for what was supposed to be Malcolm's sabbatical year, Susan was diagnosed with a very aggressive type of cancer. Treatment began immediately, even before they could return home to Davidson. Despite radiation and the first round of chemo, the cancer has left Susan with a broken back and weak. They were scheduled to return home on a commercial flight early next week, just in time to start the second round of chemo. As you might imagine, there is no way that Susan can manage a commercial flight. Arrangements have been made for air medical transportation, which is great and also very expensive. Insurance will cover some of the transport costs, but Malcolm and Susan will be facing daunting medical and home health care expenses. Perhaps by chipping in we can lighten this one part of their difficult journey. To know Malcolm and Susan is to love them, so let's show them a little love now.

With Malcolm and Susan's permission, I am sharing a link to their Caring Bridge journal in case you'd like to learn more about their situation. Malcolm's post are deeply moving and personal; it is an act of generosity that they are willing to share their experience with this awful disease. We are better humans for their teachings. https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/susanmalcolmcampbell
