Hi, I’m Donovan Holmes, founder and creative director of Mack Holmes Fine Jewelry — a Los Angeles–based luxury brand reimagining what legacy looks like through softness, heritage, and brilliance.

After being unexpectedly laid off from my corporate job 2 months ago paired with years of working in PR, image production, and styling within the luxury space, I knew I wanted to create something that felt more personal — something that honored where I come from and who I am. As one of the only living descendants carrying my great-grandfather’s name, Mack Holmes was born to celebrate lineage, identity, and the quiet confidence of Black, queer creativity in fine jewelry.

Every piece is crafted with intention: solid gold, lab-grown diamonds, and stories that last.

This fall, production began on our first three designs:

The Legacy Band — engraved with “Mack,” symbolizing strength through generations

The Softness Studs — petite lab-diamond earrings for everyday brilliance

The Carry Necklace — a dainty gold chain with a diamond drop, representing the act of carrying legacy forward

These pieces mark the beginning of something timeless — but to bring them fully to life, I need your help.
