Our sweet Luna needs your help.

We are heartbroken to share that our cat, Luna, has been fighting a mysterious and severe illness for over a week. What started as a sluggish afternoon has turned into days of high fevers, constant pain, and unanswered questions.

For the past few days, Luna has been suffering from a persistent 105°F fever and is in visible pain. She has stopped moving, playing, and investigating the world around her. We have already visited an urgent care multiple times and spent close to $2,000—yet, agonizingly, every result has come back negative while her condition continues to decline.

Luna is currently hospitalized at Penn Vet, where specialists are running more thorough, advanced tests to pinpoint the cause of her illness and start a treatment plan. The estimate for her hospitalization is roughly $7,000. However, because we are still in the unknown regarding her diagnosis, we have been told that further treatment and specialty care could potentially cost more.

If you know Luna, you know she is the heart of our home. She is a tiny, curious explorer who usually spends her days running around and supervising our every move.. Literally.. We can't even wash dishes without her observing and make sure we are doing a good job. She is incredibly loving and playful, and her absence is felt deeply by our other cats, who miss her playful energy.

We know that this is an expensive time of year for everyone, and asking for help is not easy. Any amount, no matter how small, goes directly toward Luna’s mounting medical bills and treatment.
