Rescues: Luna and Skylar need a ride to California
These two incredible senior dogs are counting on your kindness to help them reach their forever home in California.
Luna is a 12-year-old female, weighing a sturdy 85 pounds, while Skylar is an 11-year-old male, weighing approximately 45 pounds.
Both dogs were rescued in 2013 and I will not give them away.
Unfortunately, neither dog can fly cargo, and they're too large for the cabin. But don't worry, both dogs are fixed, well-behaved, and potty-trained. We just need to ride in the cabin.

In 2013, I adopted Luna, who was just around a year old and had already faced incredible challenges, including a fractured leg, a lump on her head, and burns on her face. But with love and care, she thrived.
Shortly after, I rescued two more boys, who brought immense joy and love into our lives.

Skylar was a healthy happy boy that came from Honolulu rescue.
After 11 blessed years, Skylar's brother Stubbie passed away, followed by another local rescue, Bams, both lost their battle to cancer in April. Despite Luna and Skylar having struggles with depression after losing their companions, Luna and Skylar are now healthy and mentally thriving again.

As their devoted parent, I refuse to abandon my beloved dogs. They're my family, my kids, and the past 12 years have been filled with unforgettable memories.
I usually don’t ask for help.
Now, I need your help to get them from Hilo, Hawaii to California.
Once we reach the mainland, I'll drive the rest of the way. Any destination on the West Coast is welcome. Any destination on the mainland is great.

I'm leaving Hawaii to care for a dear friend battling cancer, and I'm grateful she's generously offered to accommodate my dogs at her home. However, long-term accommodations for my fur babies in Hawaii are not feasible due to their age, and I wouldn't want to risk their well-being. I know I would miss them dearly, and I couldn't bear to be apart from them for long. Can you help me bring my precious dogs to their new home?
All funds go toward Luna and Skylars trip from Hilo, Hawaii to California.
I’ve never been one to ask for help. Usually I am the one who is there to help. So if you have a plane and can fly the dogs and myself or just the dogs. I need you, we need your help. Please bless us if you can help.
