Hi, I am Shayla Michel, the niece of Luis Michel. I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my uncle, who unexpectedly passed away on June 1st.

He is survived by his two daughters, Natalie Michel, 19, and Valerie Michel, 17.

As a son, brother, dad, and uncle, he left an impact on each of our hearts. He was the life of the party, a social butterfly who would find any way to make you smile or start a conversation with you. He was often uplifting and supporting those around him, although he faced his struggles. The biggest sports fan, everyone knows, the Green Bay Packers were his favorite team. Most importantly, to know him was to love him for all he was.

I’ve created this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden our family is currently facing. Any contribution, big or small, means the world to us and will go directly toward bringing him home to California to lay him to rest.
