We’ve already built the metal framework, ordered and received the engines, wheels, and steering. By early July, we’ll finish the engines installation and our art car will be ready to roll. After that, from the end of July to early August, we plan to build the upper cabin, start decorating, install the lighting, and wrap up the final preparations.

Hey friends! We’re building LOVEGUARD TOWER69, a mutant vehicle in the shape of a California-style lifeguard tower — but rolling across the dust of Black Rock City.
Born from the poetry of ordinary things, this art car transforms a simple lifeguard booth into a surreal symbol of presence, connection, and care. Out of place and out of time, LOVEGUARD is here to save you from the desert of loneliness. Yes, it lights up. Yes, it's interactive. And yes — it’s unforgettable.
Why this matters In a world that often feels disconnected, LOVEGUARD invites people to gather, interact, and co-create magic. It’s a place to watch the sunrise, to rest your soul, to laugh, dance, cry, and connect. It’s not just art — it’s an anchor point for real human moments.
What we’re building
* A 13-foot-high rolling wooden tower with LED lighting
* Powered by dual motors, built to cruise the Playa
* Sunset installations, sound moments, and spontaneous happenings
* A community hub that lives on beyond the Burn

* Transport and logistics (vehicle base, trailer, fuel)
