Help Bring Loganville Dance Academy to Life

Where to begin!? I guess with... we are opening Loganville Dance Academy!

I began my dancing journey at 4 years old, and though I have had some seasons that slowed with our growing family, I have never left the dance world. I have been teaching ballet for 23 years and counting, and excited for the many more years to come.

Over the recent years, I have been asked by friends and families in the greater Loganville area where to go for a great ballet studio. I have had few places I could recommend, and have sensed a real need and opportunity to open a studio in this area!

I so desire to create a safe and encouraging place for dancers to be the best they can be, a place where we strive for progress and not perfection, full of love & encouragement. I dream of creating a place where artistry can bloom, skill & character can flourish, and where dancing isn’t just for now, but can be enjoyed for a lifetime!

Our mission is simple: Progress, not perfection. Fostering growth, technique, and joy in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Experts say that it can take 3 years for a business to really establish there footing, and any support received will help us as we build Loganville Dance Academy and gain our footing as a new business these next few years.

It is not in my nature to ask for support in this way, and honestly it feels uncomfortable, but, I remind myself that this studio isn't for me, it is for the students, the dancers. We are building it for them, which leads me to push past comfortable here. That is something I actually tell my students when we are stretching or try a new step. I encourage them to go into the "uncomfortable zone," because it is there that we find growth. This is also true of of all areas and aspects of our lives.

All that being said, my amazing teachers and I are getting ready to love and support the beauties of Loganville and beyond! We have loads to do to get there, and any & all support is immensely appreciated in bringing this dream to a reality!
