With the help of a few of my generous and talented friends, I am making an independent short film, and need your help to make it happen!

This project is deeply personal to me and is something I’ve been working on quietly for a year. I’m so excited to finally share my plans with you!

We’ve already raised $3,000 (Liv's tax return, haha!) But we need at least $3,500 more to cover final production costs, insurance, location rental, costumes and props, feeding everyone on set, etc.

About the Film

Set in 1998, the film follows 13-year-old Georgie as she moves to the outskirts of town with her mother, Dawn, while her father, Tony, stays behind. It explores Georgie’s coming-of-age journey, marked by curiosity, discomfort, and stark contrasts. Blending dark humor, body horror, and adolescent awkwardness, the film captures the strangeness of growing up, the allure of the unknown, and the blurred line between fear and excitement, with themes of transformation and autonomy.

The Shoot

We are shooting this June in Chicago and Monee, IL. With a tight 3-4 day schedule, we’ll be working efficiently to bring the story to life while maintaining high production value.

About Me

This will be my directorial debut, but I’ve been working in film, music, and performance art for years. I perform with the harsh-ambient duo, nunn, co-organize Tierras Sonidas Sonic Rodeo in Marfa, TX, and support diy arts when and wherever I can.

I love making work that blurs the line between dream and reality, that explores the emotional, absurd, painful, and beautiful all at once. I’ve worked on films in sound, production, and acting, but this is my first time stepping fully into directing. It’s terrifying and exhilarating- the exact kind of risk I want to take.

My team and I have put a lot into this, but we need your support to fully fund the production. Your donation will go directly toward:
