My name is Eugene Lochman, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my half-brother Andrew and his wife Gardenia. They are the biological parents of Lincoln — a sweet, energetic little boy who was taken by Oklahoma DHS under deeply questionable circumstances.
For over a year, Andrew and Gardenia have fought to reunite with their son. Despite DHS being legally required to place children with relatives, they refused to place Lincoln with me (his uncle) or any family member — even though I was willing, available, and fit to care for him.
Instead, Lincoln was placed into a situation that has since raised serious legal and safety concerns. You can read more about the case in this recent article from ROPE²:
Andrew and Gardenia are determined to fight back — but they can’t do it alone. They’ve spoken to multiple attorneys, all of whom agree that this will be a complex and expensive legal battle. Most require retainers of $10,000 or more, which they simply cannot afford without help.
We’re raising funds to:
✅ Hire a qualified family law attorney
✅ Begin the legal process of challenging DHS
✅ Fight to bring Lincoln home where he belongs — with his parents and family
This isn’t just about one child. It’s about holding a system accountable that too often separates families without due process or fairness.
Every dollar will go directly toward legal fees and advocacy on behalf of Lincoln. If more is raised than needed, the remaining funds will be used to support other families facing similar injustices.
