My name is Sara and I have an elderly neighbor that has lately been lost within this economy. She doesn’t seem to be getting any real help from SSI or welfare. She had been paying her electricity as much as she could these last few months and even had to ask for a loan for rent at one point.

Well, the electric company has officially cut off her power until she can pay $1,300. I’ve helped her in the ways that I can, such as putting an extended outlet for charging her phone, giving her our rechargeable big lights, and solar charging lanterns.

I would love to help her a lot more so I’m asking for $2,000 to help cover a couple of months after she pays off the electric company.
