Bring Light Back to Dexter's Life

Friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for my beloved dog, Dexter. Dexter is a 7-year-old bundle of joy who has always been full of energy, love, and playfulness whose favorite activity was frisbee. Sadly, our lives were turned upside down recently due to a tragic accident at the groomer's.

During what should have been a routine grooming session, something went terribly wrong, and Dexter was left completely blind after he came home and had a very red blistering eye, followed by walking into walls and stumbling. Quickly, I went to the emergency veterinary to take a look. He was already blind in his left eye for a long time. After this, he is now left without any vision. The groomers involved are denying all responsibility, leaving us to bear the full burden of this heartbreaking situation. Seeing Dexter cry and bump into walls, unable to navigate his own home, has caused immense sadness for me and my family.

We are committed to getting Dexter the medical care he needs, including specialized procedures to improve his quality of life. Additionally, we are determined to seek justice and hold the groomers accountable for their actions. This means we also face significant legal fees.

Dexter has been a source of joy and love for us, and it breaks our hearts to see him suffer. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in Dexter's life.
