Springvale White Eagles Football Club needs your help!
Springvale White Eagles Football Club is a club with a tough spirit, hardworking and talented players and coaches and a dedicated volunteer base. We have been part of the community for a number of decades yet today our future is under challenge like never before.
The Covid-19 pandemic represents the most significant threat to the foundations of our club in many years. The effects of the restrictions have postponed the season leaving us unable to play football and unable to generate critical income in season 2020. This unprecedented situation weighs heavily on the club, with financial impacts likely to extend well into the 2021 season and beyond.
Recently, our club has also undergone a changeover in management with the new committee appointed mid-November 2020. The committee is in the process of examining and prioritising what action needs to be taken whilst coming up with a vision and strategy for the long term goals for the club.
These have been testing times, but we are excited at the opportunity to work together and see our club reach new strengths in the years to come. There is lots to be done and we are committed to performing our roles with complete transparency, accountability and integrity.
In order to get our grounds ready, our players back on the pitch and our community back together as spectators at games, we need your help. One of the first actions identified is an upgrade to our lighting system.
This upgrade will see us comply with the regulations set by the Football Federation allowing us to hold night games again. Friday night games are a favourite with many spectators and we value the importance of these events in the rebuild and strengthening of the club going forward.
An additional benefit of the lighting upgrade to LED technology is the great reduction in power consumption; smaller energy bills means more funds to improve other aspects of the club.
We are asking for your help to switch the lights back on – any donation large or small will be much appreciated and make our day brighter!

Fudbalski klub “Springvale White Eagles” je klub borbenog duha, vrednih i talentovanih igrača, trenera i privrženih volontera. Mi smo deo naše zajednice već nekoliko decenija, ali danas je naša budućnost pred velikim izazovom.
Pandemija ‘’COVID-19’’ predstavlja najkritičniju pretnju opstanku našeg kluba u poslednjih nekoliko godina. Posljedice restrikcija odložile su sezonu, zbog čega nismo mogli da igramo fudbal i ostvarimo neophodne prihode u 2020. sezoni. Ova nepredvidjena situacija je teško opteretila klub, a ovaj finansijski udar će se verovatno proširiti i do 2021. sezone, a i kasnije.
Klub je imao promenu rukovodstva na čelu sa novim odborom, imenovanim sredinom Novembra 2020. Odbor je trenutno u procesu ispitivanja i određivanja prioriteta u vezi koje postupke treba preduzeti, dok izrađuje viziju i strategiju za dugoročne ciljeve kluba.
Ovo je bio ispit zrelosti našega kluba, ali mi sa nestrpljenjem čekamo da počnemo ponovo da radimo zajedno i da postignemo nove uspehe u godinama koje dolaze. Mnogo toga treba da se učini, ali mi smo posvećeni obavljanju svojih uloga uz potpunu transparentnost, odgovornost i integritet.
Da bismo pripremili teren zajedno sa igračima i zajednicu, kao gledaoce na utakmicama, potrebna nam je vaša pomoć. Jedna od prvih izdvojenih akcija je nadogradnja našeg sistema rasvete.
Ova nadogradnja reflektora će nam omogućiti da se povinujemo standardima propisanih od strane Fudbalskog saveza, što nam omogućava ponovno održavanje noćnih utakmica. Utakmice petkom uveče su omiljene kod mnogih gledalaca a i mi cenimo značaj ovih događaja u obnovi i jačanju kluba.
Dodatna prednost nadogradnje osvetljenja na ‘’LED’’ je veliko smanjenje potrošnje električne energije, a manji računi za električnu energiju znače više sredstava za poboljšanje ostalih aspekata kluba.
