Greg Marentette has not seen his dog in over 3 years.

Due to the overwhelming amount of people reaching out about Lemmys case asking for a platform to offer help with the outstanding amount of legal fees, we decided to create this GoFundMe. Greg has spent well over 30k over the past 3 years due to the numerous appeals that have been filed to try and delay the process of him getting his dog back. For those who may be unfamiliar with this story; Greg Marentette is a Windsorite who has been forced to take his dog-sitter to court to get his Newfoundland named Lemmy returned to him. His dog Lemmy was stolen from him by his dog Walker/trainer after she became too attached to him. She trained Greg’s dog to be her service animal behind his back while also building her Instagram/Facebook business using Lemmy as the model out of her parent’s back yard. Greg initially went to law enforcement to have Lemmy returned to him but due to his trainer stating that she had “co-ownership” of Lemmy, it was out of their hands. He has now been in a 3 year court battle with his trainer to have Lemmy returned to him.
