Hi! This is Mille and Alissia: we're a French Sino-Russian duo, and the artistic directors of dance-theatre company 88 meters/second. We create silly, heartfelt, and bold, physical theatre/experimental performance pieces, tackling the complexities of queer identities, Western upbringings, and distant Dads.

In April 2025, we did the first work in progress of our new show, Le Grand Soir at Theatre Deli in London, thanks to the Shift+Space programme; Le Grand Soir is about lesbian friendships, daddy issues, communist history, but most importantly, it's about caring, boundaries, and healing. We had the joy of doing a preview of the show at The Glitch for the Lambeth Fringe, where we were runner up for The Glitch Awards, and a premiere at The Etcetera Theatre for the Voilà Festival! We are now back to The Glitch from February 18th to 20th for a 3 days, 4 shows run, and we couldn't be more excited.

But the truth is also that we are self-producing artists, and that all this moving around (we actually live in Lyon, in France) has taken up a lot of our energy, and our savings. We love the arts, we love connecting with audiences - it's no surprise our show involves LOTS of audience interactions, in no less than 4 different languages! but we can't keep doing it this way. This is why we're asking for your support to bring this show, for maybe its final glorious run, back at The Glitch in Waterloo, before we take some time to rest, make new plans, find some producing help, and re-energize.
