My name is Melissa and I am starting a GoFundMe for my beautiful mother, Laura. The early morning Friday my mother had a complication related to an elective surgery. She had earlier in the month of March. Unfortunately, my mother had a cardiac event and had to be resuscitated and intubated for life-saving measures. She has been living in Mexico for the past two years, so all of her emergency services were done out of the country. Unfortunately, unlike the American medical system, everything must be paid in the moment, which means my mother is being hit with an acreage just amount of medical bills all within the next 48 hours she recently retired and does not have private medical insurance so with my help and doing as much as we can, she will need support for getting back to the US after all of the medical bills.
