Bring Larry Rowe Home ♡

My dad, Larry Allen Rowe, Jr., was sentenced to 42 years, (serve 21 years), in prison, in April of 2010. I was almost 17, & pregnant with the first of his two grandchildren at the time. You can Google his name to read about his charges.. he went on a crime spree breaking into unoccupied house's & stealing valuables. Because he offended in multiple counties, he got charged in multiple counties. They all gave him the maximum sentence: 15 yrs, 15 yrs, & 12 yrs. He also has to serve all three sentences consecutively, rather than concurrently! This makes it harder to receive time cuts when serving multiple sentences.
Larry, a non-violent offender, is currently in Pendleton Correctional Facility. Due to his sentences equaling more than 30 years, a few years ago he was moved out of CIF (Pendleton's minimum security building), into the maximum security building. So he's housed with all of the violent offenders, such as murderers & child molesters.
My dad is a good guy. And like many of us, he just has/had a drug problem. My dad needed HELP with rehabilitation.. not to have the book thrown at him, be locked up, & the key thrown away. If he'd have gotten help, he would have a degree in architecture right now. He's so, so smart & creative. He can draw better than many artists I've seen, whether it be blue prints, beautiful landscapes, or even the tattoos I have on my body that came from the drawings HE sent me! He can build anything you want, including entire houses!!
His 10 year old grandson has only ever known Pendleton Correctional Facility as "Pap's house." His 5 year old granddaughter can point him out in pictures or by the sound of his voice... But she's never met him. His mom, my grandma, is in bad health.. even if she won't admit it. But he was locked up when his dad died a couple years ago, & if his mom is also gone before he gets out, he'll never be able to live with himself. My dad has served half of his sentence, he's almost 50, and he has liver & blood pressure problems, himself. But because he's in prison, he'll stay on the transplant list until he dies.
As I said before, he's a good guy with a big heart. He's human too, & made mistakes, just like all of us!! I just can't afford the money for a lawyer.. the lawyer who believes he can help my dad. If you can donate to help, wonderful!! & thank you so much! But if you can't, please just pray for my dad & his family. I trust my faith in God, & I know that he will help me no matter what. ❤ thank you for your time.
