Bring LADY LEGACY: TAIL OF THE TIDE to the Stage!

Help us bring our pirate adventure to life on stage!

LADY LEGACY: TAIL OF THE TIDE is a brand new theatrical piece created by Lubbock artists in association with Creative Action Training. The play takes place in the world of re:INVENT, a homebrew Dungeons and Dragons world where magic and superpowers coexist. In re:INVENT, any story you want to tell can be told, whether you are playing a high elf, a robot, or a human cowboy. TAIL OF THE TIDE is the second stage show to take place in the re:INVENT canon, following one of the misadventures of the Lady Legacy Crew, a band of misfit pirates who want to do some good. After being shipwrecked on a jungle island, crew members Jim and Aaron must overcome their differences in order to escort a mermaid on her secret mission, all while being chased by siren bounty hunters.

Led by co-founding director of Creative Action Training (CAT) Abby Wolff, the team is devising this piece that will premiere in January 2025. After the wonderful experience of WHAT IF in July 2024, our team has grown and is having a blast building this new show. We started workshopping in September and will have the script locked early November. For us, this process has been such a joy and we want to share that joy with as many people as possible!

Producing theatre isn’t cheap, so we’re gathering a community to raise funds to offset the cost of essentials like costumes, set pieces, props, and marketing. This is your chance to not only support the arts: you’ll have a personal hand in making a brand new show come to life.

We’ll design a digital version of your character and it will be part of our lobby display at the show, as well as becoming a canon character in the re:INVENT world.
