Hi! I'm Katie Grace! I'm so very excited to share that after a year of writing (and many years processing and healing), I've finally put my story onto paper and have officially completed my memoir! ❤️ It will be called "Spirit of Fear", and the narrative focuses on navigating and recovering from religious trauma. My vision for this book and for its future is to amplify not only my own story, but many others as well, so that thousands of people can feel seen and supported as they heal from various traumas like mine.

And now comes the part I've been both looking forward to while simultaneously doing it afraid: bringing this book into the world.

My publisher and I are working toward publication by Christmas, and I'm beginning to build the foundation for what I hope will become a long-term career in writing, podcasting, speaking, and creating spaces where people can feel less alone in their own stories.

That means there are quite a few things that need to happen before the book even generates income:

establishing my small business, creating a website and email community, professional photography and branding, launching a podcast, preparing for the book launch, and building the basic infrastructure I'll need to begin connecting with readers and listeners.

So I'm doing something that feels a little vulnerable: asking my community for help.

I've created a small launch fund to help cover these initial expenses while I'm still working my regular job and single-parenting, and before book sales and other income streams have had a chance to begin.

I'm not asking anyone to invest in something that doesn't exist yet. The book is written. The story is real. The work is underway. I am hoping for a little financial breathing room as I build the infrastructure to give this project a genuine chance to grow.
