Bring Karon Kujawa Home for Healing

Hello! I am Dr. Lorie Thomas-Schultz, a prior obstetrician and current Gynecologic surgeon in Findlay, Ohio. Today I'm reaching out on behalf of a dear friend, Karon Kujawa, who has been a pillar of our community through her work as my office manager and nurse as well as her dedicated service at St. Michael the Archangel Parish and Blanchard Valley Hospital.

Karon and her husband, Ron, are in urgent need of our support and prayers. While visiting family in California, Karon became seriously ill and required emergency surgery. Unfortunately, complications led to a second surgery, resulting in prolonged hospital care, IV nutrition, severe weight loss, and weakness. Karon now faces an extended recovery period that will include months of intensive medical care and rehabilitation.

We desperately need to bring Karon back home to Findlay, Ohio where she is loved and supported by so many people. However, the cost of medical transport is not covered by Medicare, and we don't want Karon and Ron to deplete their retirement savings to cover this expense.

Karon has always been a beacon of faith and hope, trusting in God's guidance through any challenging times. Now, it's our turn to step up and show her the love and support she has so generously given to others.
