Bring Julio Home - Road to Recovery!!

Hello friends, family, Denver community and beyond!

The Flores family has discovered some unexpected news about our father Julio Flores.

He was diagnosed with a heart condition called Myocarditis is a serious though rare condition which effects the heart's ability to pump blood... His heart is currently only operating at 20%, he has developed blood clots, jaundice and has been in the hospital for over 45 days now.

He has been to two different hospitals in Puerto Rico- he is currently now at the Cardiovascular Hospital in San Juan where they have transferred him to the ICU. The doctors in Puerto Rico have expressed that his condition is not getting any better and if flew back home to Denver, Colorado he would have a much higher chance getting expedited on the heart transplant list.

My father is too sick to fly back on a commercial flight, his safest option is an air ambulance- his insurance will not pay for this and the cheapest I have been able to find is $60,000. My parents have no source of income as he was working as tour guide and has not been able to work for months now.

We are desperately asking that if you have even a few dollars to spare that you can donate to help bring my father home. Being able to bring him to Denver can save his life and will mean more to our family than we can express in words.

My father has dedicated his life to serving the community, the youth and families in the Denver area and we just pray that all his hard-work, dedication and love he has given will be rewarded and returned.

Julio has 4 grandchildren and 1 new grandson on the way, he deserves to live, retire and be happy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
