We are raising funds for my niece, Julia Wilcox Polanco, who passed away on 11/3/2026 at just 2 years old. Julia was a member of the Northern Arapaho and Oglala Lakota community, and our family is heartbroken by this loss.

Right now, both of Julia’s parents are emotionally devastated, and our family is scrambling to gather the money needed to lay baby Julia to rest. This loss is so recent, and we are trying to navigate the pain of losing her while also facing the immediate costs that come with bringing her home and preparing for her funeral.

The funds raised will help cover funeral and burial expenses, as well as the transportation needed to bring Julias parents home from New York so they can lay her to rest at our family plot in Wambli, South Dakota.
