Bring Joy to Verna Rae Cross's Kids This Holiday

My name is Shante, I sundance with the Wanagi Oyate over in Kyle South Dakota. This last spring our lead woman Sundance, Verna Rae Cross, died suddenly of a heart attack leaving behind her four children ages 21,18,16, and 4. The 4 year old has a severe disability and is now being cared for by her siblings, who are doing their very best to keep everything together. These children have nothing and have just experienced a grave loss. Their mother was a single mother and their only provider. This is their first Christmas without their mother. I try to send them little bits of money as often as I can but I wish I could really just bless them up for Christmas and bring warmth and light into their hearts and lives. I sent the goal at $5k, which is t a lot considering, but it will help with Christmas and for a few months more. I will help to manage the money with and for them as needed.
